Notre Département des Langues Étrangères (DLE) propose à un public national et international, des cours pour adultes ou pour les jeunes et accueille chaque année plus de 1700 stagiaires pour l’ensemble de ses cours.

Spécial formation continue : tous nos cours sont éligibles au D.I.F (Droit Individuel à la Formation). En partenariat avec l’Université Blaise Pascal de Clermont-Ferrand, le CAVILAM – Alliance française est centre de passation du test international TOEIC (Test Of English for International Communication).

Formations pour professeurs

Plate-forme internationale pour l’enseignement du français, le CAVILAM – Alliance française s’est spécialisé dans l’intégration des innovations pédagogiques dans le quotidien de la classe et la formation des professeurs de FLE.

Chaque année près de 900 professionnels du F.L.E. suivent nos formations à Vichy : professeurs de français langue étrangère ou langue seconde, conseillers pédagogiques, attachés de coopération, formateurs, professeurs enseignant une autre matière en français

Les stages proposent des expérimentations de scénarios et de séquences pédagogiques, des échanges d’expérience, des rencontres avec les éditeurs, des conférences et débats.
Les cours sont complétés par un programme d’activités culturelles, de loisirs et de rencontres.

LES RENCONTRES PÉDAGOGIQUES DU AIFLC– ALLIANCE FRANÇAISE
Organisées en juillet et août ces formations proposent des sessions de 1 à 10 semaines en fonction des thématiques choisies.

The Test d’Évaluation en Français (TEF) is a standardised test issued by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Paris (CCIP).
The TEF is designed to assess general French language expression and comprehension skills. Recognised around the world, the test is recommended for students applying for jobs or pursuing higher education in France or aiming to work abroad in a French-speaking country.

The Test de Connaissance du Français (TCF) is a standardised test for anyone interested in obtaining an official assessment of their French language skills.
The TCF/DAP includes a writing test lasting one hour and 30 minutes and is compulsory for non-French applicants seeking to enrol for an undergraduate course in the French education system as part of the preliminary admission application (Demande d’Admission Préalable—DAP).

Test dates: every Tuesday from October to June
(one test per month in July, August and September).
Results: available at the end of tests (compulsory test modules only).

The Diplôme d’Études en Langue Française (DELF) and Diplôme Approfondi de Langue Française (DALF) are certificates of French proficiency awarded by the French Ministry of National Education.
The tests are designed to provide official recognition of French-language skills for people who are not French or are a French citizen from a non-francophone country and who do not have a secondary-school leaving certificate or higher from the French school system. The DELF and DALF are based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). They are suitable for all ages and types of applicant.

Objectives & programme

A chance to learn French and discover a whole array of French culinary secrets while exploring recipes with a chef, baking bread, learning about wine, indulging in gourmet meals and tasting sessions, and taking part in talks and tours.
Two-week programme
Mornings:

Group French lessons corresponding to the student’s level: 18 lessons per week.
Afternoons & evenings:

Cookery workshops at the aiflc Training Centre, working on recipes, baking bread, making pastries and learning about wine.

Tours and tastings to discover regional produce:
Talks by Sophie Laurenceau, programme coordinator and specialist in the history and culture of French cuisine.

Objectives & programme

One-to-one tuition provides specially designed classes to cater to the full range of student needs.
Specific goals and teaching targets are drawn up based on individual levels and requirements, covering everything from general French and business French to preparation for tests and lessons designed to meet specific job requirements.
One-to-one classes may be combined with a programme of additional activities, such as lunch with a tutor, meetings with economic, cultural or political figures, tours and more.

Participants who have fulfilled attendance requirements will receive a certificate at the end of their course, signed by CAVILAM – Alliance française along with a detailed skills evaluation.
A readily available range of free resources:

University media library (computer, video and DVD resources)
Self-study centre for language work using special software
Wi-Fi coverage across the campus

This is the most intensive programme available, designed for people who need to achieve a functional level of French quickly for professional reasons.
Students join a group from the intensive programme corresponding to their level, as well as attending 14 one-to-one lessons per week (goals, duration and timetable drawn up with the Head of the French Language Department).
Theme-based language workshops promote faster progress in a specific field, with options including oral and written communications, vocabulary, grammar, culture, phonetics and preparation for the DELF/DALF/TCF tests,
18 group lessons corresponding to the student’s level
8 themed language workshops
